Severe Weather Update - NC & NE Oklahoma

The above image was just taken from the Tulsa radar.  I am focusing generally on the Tulsa area, westward in this post.  A generally East to West band of thunderstorms extends from South Tulsa to just southwest of Guthrie, to near Canton.

Individual thunderstorms within the band are moving East to East/Southeast at 25-30 mph, while the band itself is shifting very slowly Southward.

Large hail and strong, gusty winds of up to 50 mph are possible with the stronger storms, including the cell that is tracking into northern portions of Oklahoma City at this time.

Over the past hour, the trend has continued to indicate that stronger storms will pass to the South of Tulsa.  That trend continues at this hour.
