Oklahoma/Arkansas Winter Wonderland - Part ???

Snow & Blowing Snow Hammered NE Oklahoma & NW Arkansas this Afternoon

Northeast Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas were hammered with heavy snow once again over the last 24 hours.  Snowfall accumulations of 20-25 inches are widespread from the extreme Northeast corner of Oklahoma into part of Northwest Arkansas.  See the snow accumulation map below (click to enlarge) with some of the heavier totals highlighted in the blue text boxes:

With a total of 24.5 inches of snow, Siloam Springs, AR has received 4 years worth of snow in about a 6 hour period today (6 inches per year is "normal" in that area).  This set an all-time record for snow in a 24-hour period anywhere in the state of Arkansas.  Records go back as far as 1913.

Drifts of 4-5 feet are widespread across the areas that received 20+ inches of snow.

The table & chairs (above) are on an elevated surface about 18-20" off the ground.

The shrubs that you can barely see (below) are 24-36" high.

Gusty North winds will continue to cause blowing and drifting snow into the evening hours, along with dangerously low wind chills (below zero in most areas).

In the Tulsa Metropolitan area, snowfall totals ranged from 3 inches in Jenks to nearly 9 inches in Collinsville.  Just Northeast of town, from Claremore to Pryor, 12 inches plus accumulated:
